Anxiety and OCD+

Case formulation, treatment planning, prioritization of goals, and development of exposure-exercises can be challenging when anxiety and OCD present with multiple or unusual symptoms. A range of issues such as depression, emetophobia, defiance, rage, panic, agoraphobia, school refusal, sleep difficulties, sensory sensitivity, picky eating, hair-pulling, skin-picking, tics, autism-spectrum behaviors, or lack of client or family readiness can further complicate assessment and treatment. Consultation may include discussion of clinical dilemmas, creative approaches for treating complex presentations, and adaptations, tips, and strategies for conducting CBT via teletherapy when indicated.
